People often don't realize that a relationship takes two people committed to each other...not one person being faithful and the other acting single.
When I hear of stories where people cheat on their partners, I keep thinking...why do you go into a relationship in the first place when you are still attracted to a "living wild and free" lifestyle?
I know some people get caught up in the web of cheating for one reason or the other but think about it...there is no tangible excuse for toying with another's emotions and feelings because that's what you're doing in the process.
- If you think you don't love your SO (significant other) anymore then why don't you just end it and give the person an opportunity to get a real shot at love. How long do you want to continue playing games. It might hurt the person when you end it but it's something that's inevitable if your heart is no longer with them because you're hurting them now and the relationship will eventually end because it has become a one sided thing and a relationship needs two people's continual efforts to blossom. So the earlier you call it quits, the better.
- If you cheat on your partner because you think you're a playa' playa' then just consider the possibility that you're in for a hard dose of karma because they say what goes around comes around. You might eventually fall hard for someone that won't take you seriously (I'm just saying).
- I know that some people cheat because they don't know how they got there. They probably fell into temptation the one time and ended up being trapped in the web of infidelity. All I can say in this category is for you to tell your SO about it. If they love you enough, they'll stick with you and work through it (bear in mind that they'll be MAD when you tell them in the initial time. On the other hand, let's not forget the possibility that you might lose them forever. Buckle up! You made your bed so lie in it...
- Remember why you chose your SO in the first place
- Be totally honest and try not to keep secrets
- Put yourself in their shoes and analyze how the thought makes you feel
- Think of how valuable what you both have is and how you would feel if you lost it
- Share all your feelings with your SO (and not anyone who gives you a listening ear), else you're breeding ground for temptation...
- Remember that temptation is a woman's weapon and a man's excuse
- Treasure the happiness you share together...
- Work through your problems together and avoid third parties
- Remember that three is a crowd!
If you're not ready for the commitment that comes with relationships, then just stay single till you meet the one who's worth it to you...
Don't give up on what you want most for what you want now!
Yea you are right about the players doing bad and i feel that what gives them joy is the fact that the people they prey on see them the players as something special in their lives and derive pleasure in playing people who take them seriously. However when they find out that someone doesnt take them seriously as they has hoped, (a better player played them) in this case we can say karma as you have mentioned, they then become angry at the person and call them all sorts of names.
ReplyDeleteLet everyone do unto others as you would like them to do to you. We can only help ourselves as you have said by putting ourselves in our SO's shoes
Well said!
